Bug Description
Status
9/24/2007     Usernames within the interface need to be consistent.  Use username@bellsouth.net as it is the standard example we use in M&Ps in the SE.
Resolved
9/24/2007   Why is the Device Name Netopia, shouldn't it be Motorola?  This may be confusing to our agents.
Resolved
9/24/2007     On the Easy Login page, the borders are broken & it looks like a part of the window was pasted in w/ Photoshop.
Resolved
9/24/2007     The "Home" link doesn't work.
Resolved
9/24/2007     There is a white line running across the page under the tabs on the Remote Access page
Resolved
9/24/2007     On the Update Device page, why does is state the Current Software Version is 7.7.3r7-specialWankickPortChange when the Home Summary page lists it as 7.7.3r7?
Resolved
9/24/2007     Where the computer name is "Daddy PC", can we replace that with "Computer 1"…or something to that effect?
Resolved
9/24/2007     Some of the drop-down menus work, but not all. For this to be a useful simulator, we need it to function just like the modem.
Resolved
9/24/2007     The area above the VPI/VCI on the Connection Configuration screen is messed up and the borders are broken on this page as well.
Resolved
9/24/2007     I thought the Route & RIP buttons were being removed.  They were never present on the Westell 6100 modem which is what this device is supposed to emulate. Per Russel, these buttons are being removed from the first version of the firmware for the 2210, so if they are removed they should not show up in the simulator.

Resolved

9/24/2007     I thought the IP Maps and IP Static ARP buttons were being removed.  They were never present on the Westell 6100 modem which is what this device is supposed to emulate. Per Russel, these buttons are being removed from the first version of the firmware for the 2210, so if they are removed they should not show up in the simulator.
Resolved in next release of firmware
9/24/2007     Why is there an advanced button that includes buttons for Differentiated services, IGMP, VLAN, UPnP, Default Server, & System?  Since none of the pages that are brought up by those buttons are clickable and are not items we normally train on OR support, they should be removed. Per Russel, these buttons are being removed from the first version of the firmware for the 2210, so if they are removed they should not show up in the simulator.
These buttons are not being removed at this time
9/24/2007     The Firewall page says that the Default Firewall level is Medium. Per Russel that it is supposed to be defaulted to Low, so the simulator needs to be aligned with the final firmware version.
Resolved
9/19/2007     Why is there a Stateful Inspection button?  Why is it not clickable?  If it is going to be left in the device there should be materials for us to teach the agents how to use this feature should the customer increase their firewall level. But per Russel, this button is being removed from the first version of the firmware for the 2210, so if it is removed it should not show up in the simulator.
Resolved
9/24/2007     Diagnostic tests should be pointed to www.yahoo.com.  They are our corporate partner, not www.google.com.
Resolved
9/24/2007     The modem should allow the agent to see the screens the customer will see when they attempt to bridge it or it is not a useful simulator. - Resolve interactive bridging issues with data.
Resolved
9/24/2007     UserID on Home Summary tab is not a valid SE username (mhawx@att), also it does not match user ID shown on Broadband DSL Line summary tab.
Resolved
9/24/2007     Device Name is wrong (should say Motorola, not Netopia).
Resolved
9/24/2007     The image on the Broadband DSL Line > Configure Connection screen is of poor quality. Multiple broken lines and looks like some text is bleeding through at the top.  Also it shows another username which is also not a valid SE username
Resolved
9/24/2007     Firewall > Security Level screen still shows verbiage about recommended setting being medium (I thought this was going to be removed). Whatever the answer is, it should be consistent with the firmware in the field.
Resolved
9/24/2007     Local Network > Advanced > System shows system name as Netopia 2000, while this is a Motorola branded device
PENDING
9/24/2007     When trying to bridge the device, the simulator does not work properly.  There are various steps to bridging the device which can't be done in the simulator.  While the last step is obviously not possible, everything up to that last step should be documented in the same way as it appears on the device.
Resolved
9/24/2007   Is the device name still going to say Netopia?
Resolved

Resolved
10/30/07     Most of the screens are misaligned relative to each other. You can tell by comparing the alignment of the "Home Summary" button when the Home Summary tab is selected vs. when the Broadband DSL Line is selected. The alignment problem is even worse for the Broadband DSL Line > Configure Connection screen, which is noticeably shifted to the left and up.
Cosmetic - Does not compromise the functionality of the simulator - resolve in next release
10/30/07     Broadband DSL Line > Connection Config screen. If I select "Bridged Ethernet" from the Protocol pull-down menu, and then I try to change the selection in the Bridge Type pull-down, I receive a 404 error.
Resolved
10/30/07     When I "bridge the device", the correct number and sequence of confirmation screens is not shown. This does not replicate the devices' behavior.
Resolved
10/30/07     Broadband DSL Line > Connection Config screen. The fields and their labels are misaligned, leaving two "orphan" labels (Domain Name and Connection Type). There are 2 password fields, one to the right of the User ID and one below that. Address shown is @att.com which is only for AT&T employees and should not be used. Should use user@domain.net.
Resolved
10/30/07     Looks like the "spray" tool was used to block out some info and replace with other info. I can see the "ghost" of what used to be in the field in the User ID field of the Broadband DSL Line summary screen, as well as the User ID field or IP Address / Name field in the Home Summary screen.
Cosmetic - Does not compromise the functionality of the simulator - resolve in next release
10/30/07     Home Summary > Easy Login. The fields and their labels on this page are misaligned, part of the right side border of the screen is missing, and there is an ugly gray line next to the "Confirm Password" label.
Resolved
10/30/07     Home Summary > Update Device. Clicking the "Version Info" button takes me to a ftp.bellsouth.net address which pulls up the Drivers site. The emulator should not be taking agents anywhere since they will be using it when troubleshooting customer issues. Any links that direct the user to an external site should be modified so that they do not distract the agent from troubleshooting the customer's issue.
Pending Management Review
10/30/07     Home Summary > Update Device > Update from PC. Clicking the Update Software From PC button takes me to a screen which shows a broken image and no navigational elements:
Resolved
10/30/07     The name "Daddy PC", is still visible in various places, including the Rename Device and IP Passthrough screens. Could we just change this to "Computer 1" or something?
Resolved
10/30/07     Home Summary > Rename Device. Clicking on the Change button causes a 404 error to display.
Resolved
10/30/07     The screen that comes up after "restarting the device" or "bridging the device" is cut off, you can see only half of the AT&T copyright notice at the bottom. Also, this screen still shows the name "Daddy PC", and it shows the incorrect model number for the device (224 instead of 2210).
Resolved
10/30/07     The User ID shown should be consistent from screen to screen. Currently it varies between mhawx@bellsouth.net, user@domain.net, mhawx@att.com, asdfas@bellsouth.net, depending on the screen that you are on.
Resolved
10/30/07     Home > Local Network > NAT. If I click the Save Changes button it displays a 404 error.
Resolved
10/30/07     Firewall & Passwords > Security Level/Remote Logging. This screen still contains the verbiage stating that "Medium" is the recommended firewall setting when we ship them out set to "Low" as the default. It was my understanding that this was going to be addressed. I think we'd like to avoid the appearance that we ship equipment that is by default less secure than the manufacturer's recommended setting.
Resolved
10/30/07     From the Firewall and Passwords tab, if I click on the IP Passthrough button, it pulls up a screen asking to restart the device for changes to take effect. Since I have not yet made any configuration changes, this screen does not make sense.
